Sarah Powell RIP

St Augustine's Church is proud to be able to assist, in a small way, with the funeral arrangements for Sarah Powell RIP. At this time of COVID restrictions, like so many others, Sarah's family are unable to say good-bye to her in the way they, or she, would have wanted. However, they have arranged for Sarah's hearse to carry out a procession through Boscombe Crescent which will stop outside the church for a moment to pay tribute to her and to her dad, Tony, whose ashes are interred within the Garden of Remembrance.
For all those who knew Sarah and for those, of course, who are well enough to, her family invite you to come to Boscombe Crescent at 10.30am on 18th June to line the street for the procession. They ask everyone to be safe, to maintain strict social distancing along the road and for people to use the church car park safely, so as not to clog the road with cars. Due to the current government guidelines they are saddened not to be able to allow anyone else to go to the crematorium. But for anyone who would like it, a link can be sent so the service can be watched live online from your homes. Please send a message to the Parish email address if you would like that link. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Apart, yet together.   #ChurchAtHome
