Our first Private Prayer morning....

On Sunday morning St Augustine's Church opened it's doors for private prayer for the first time since lockdown began in March. Oh happy day!
There were about 25 people who were able to visit to spend time inside the church, all managing to arrive at staggered times throughout the morning so there was no need for any waiting in the Narthex! What a lovely, safe and considerate coincidence!
The feedback we have received has been so lovely and positive ~ from the practical safety measures of our 1 way system, pew spacing and hand gel stations to the spiritual side of being physically closer to God ~ everyone was happy.
Therefore, we will open once again THIS COMING SUNDAY, 28th JUNE, from 10am until 12.30. (Should any of our current parish volunteers be willing to be a steward during these times, please call the presbytery to discuss the details of what is needed. Thank you to our volunteers who have helped and offered help so far.)

God bless you all. Canon Frank.
Apart, yet together #ChurchAtHome #ChurchInsideChurch!
