Impart to your servants, we pray, O Lord,

the gift of heavenly grace,
that the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Birgin
may bring deeper peace
to those for whom the birth of her Son
was the dawning of salvation.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.

The Diocese has cancelled nearly all 2nd collections due to limited numbers at churches & financial pressures on some families. The exceptions are Holy Places, World Missions & Peters’ Pence (Vatican collections) & Priest’s’ Retirement Fund (Diocesan Collection). Therefore, there will be a 2nd basket out for a week on 12th Sept for Holy Places, 3rd Oct for Peter’s Pence, 17th Oct for World Missions & 31st Oct for Priest’s Retirement Fund.

The collection for "Holy Places", traditionally taken on Good Friday, will take place from this coming weekend... We will put a second basket out as you enter the church for one week to support the people and places of the Holy Land.
