Mike & Angela Ryan have asked us to pass on their thanks for all who sent cards and well wishes for Bridie Ryan's 100 Birthday last Thursday.
The Nuns and staff at St Joseph's Home in Clifton arranged a wonderful celebration day and safe visits were made by her 3 sons and their wives.
Bridie had a card from the Queen, cakes, flowers, balloons and over 100 cards (many coming from St Augustine's parishioners).
The residents enjoyed a party which, we are informed, included a great deal of sherry and even some dancing!
Bridie enjoyed her day and is full of thanks for all the fuss made of her on such a special occasion.
