COP26 - Caring for our World.
Here is an update from our own Bella Harding who attended the march in Glasgow this weekend.

"This was the most interesting experience. I cannot possibly say in short order, there is so much going on, and so many hopes and fears - so much to play for.
After a harrowing day with the world on our shoulders, (in reality, a blowup globe which we took on the climate march in rain and wind and cold, with the occasional rainbow) an inspirational fully sung Mass with the great and the good of Glasgow and Scotland both civil and religious, ecumenical and even the papal nuncio, and Fr Josh, from the Dicastery of Integral Human Development at the Vatican, in charge of the launching of the Laudato Si Action Programme on 14th November, seen here with Lorna Gold, President of the Laudato Si Movement Board of Directors and two Laudato Si Animators, you might recognise one!"

We can all get involved with aiding the current fight against the climate crisis - pray for the leaders to make REAL CHANGE and TAKE REAL ACTION during this last week of COP26.

A message from our local Foodbank in Downend/Mangotsfield.

We have had a very good Harvest with approximately two tonnes of food donations from the local community for which we are extremely grateful. The FoodBank has continued to support those in need of food support in the local community and, as in previous years, we are beginning to see a rise in the number of clients seeking assistance as the run-up to Christmas starts.
Your continued support is, as always, greatly appreciated and all at the FoodBank wish you and your families a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year."
