Feast Day ~ 13th October
Lord God, who set your servant Saint Edward
upon the throne of an earthly realm
and inspired him with zeal for the Kingdom of Heaven,
grant, we pray,
that we may faithfully serve you in this life
and with him inherit your eternal glory.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.

What a beautiful reflection....
St Paul tells us;
'You are God's chosen people, his saints,
and you should clothe yourself in genuine compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience... over all these clothes... put on love'. (Col 3.12)
What 'clothes' are we going to be wearing today?

A published author in our midst!
Congratulations to our parishioner, Clare Davis, who has written her first book! It is called "Emotional Fitness. A-Z for positive Mental Health".
Clare says "The aim of the book is to get people to bring activities into their everyday life for more positive mental health.
This isn't a stuffy theoretical book. It's a useable, approachable book, full of activities, giving you actions to help you work on your mental health every day. It's easy to read, with immediate, useful takeaways.
We should be looking after our mental health like we look after our physical health. Positive mental health doesn't just happen!"
We congratulate you on your achievement Clare- and I'm sure we can organise a 'book signing' when times are back to normal!
