Second Lock Down
You can read the statement from the Catholic Bishops' Conference of England and Wales here, regarding the Government's decision to bring about a lock down with effect from Thursday 5th November.
We pray that this lock down effectively helps to save lives and ease the burden on our NHS - we also pray for those for whom this will be a very difficult time, emotionally, financially, physically...
Our last public Mass before lock down will be Tuesday 3rd November at 7.30pm. Please book a place on the event bright link if you wish to attend.
We will keep everyone updated here on our facebook page and on our website over the lockdown period.

All Souls Day
Listen kindly to our prayers, O Lord,
and, as our faith in your Son,
raised from the dead, is deepened,
so may our hope of resurrection for your departed servants
also find new strength.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
Amen

Gospel of the Day (John 6:37-40)
Jesus said to the crowds:
“Everything that the Father gives me will come to me, and I will not reject anyone who comes to me, because I came down from heaven not to do my own will but the will of the one who sent me.
And this is the will of the one who sent me, that I should not lose anything of what he gave me, but that I should raise it on the last day.
For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him may have eternal life, and I shall raise him on the last day.”
